The Ultimate Guide to Throwing a Memorable Birthday Party
Hi everyone, welcome back and happy September! Today we are talking about birthday parties!
We will cover tips on organizational planning, focusing on a theme, must-have party supplies, and fun decorations!
If you’re planning an unforgettable party for a friend, family member, or anyone special, you’ve made it to the right place!
1. What Kind of Party Are You Hosting
Without guests, there is no party so determine how many should come!
Estimate your number of guests by creating a family and friend list.
Once your list is finalized, send out online invites or text each guest.
Now, let’s discuss what food will be served.
Consider either catering or cooking the food yourself. I prefer catering, as it is a convenient option for larger parties.
However, cooking and baking your cake can be fun too!
Choose what works best for your schedule and start planning.
2. Prepare Food and Entertainment
For my 20th birthday, I had Alfredo pasta for the meal, cheese, crackers, grapes, and bread for appetizers, and then a lemon and cream cheese frosting cake.
Serving and catering your meal towards your guests is important, so ask in advance what their preferred choices are.
For entertainment, we had a bonfire and smores! Sometimes the simplest things can bring the most enjoyment.
Find an activity that you can do with everyone!
Here are a few ideas: a DIY photobooth, an ice cream or candy bar, outdoor games, pumpkin carving, now that we are headed into fall, etc.
3. Go All In on Decorations
My theme was all things pink, so find a theme! Themed parties are always more fun, and guests can join in by bringing or wearing something that matches.
Here are some cute decoration ideas:
- Flowers
- Number balloons
- Decorative paper plates
- Cake Topper
- Pretty Gift Bags
Now that we’ve discussed how to throw a fun and memorable party, it’s time to celebrate! So start planning and decorating, and host a party everyone will remember! For more inspiration, check out my Pinterest https://pin.it/5894uvCqT. With peace, love, and joy.
